Knowledge, which mankind had created throughout its history, must be available to everybody. Nobody is entitled to restrict it for his own use only. This would be non-ethical. If we have the possibility to improve the lives of all people, then we have to do this. Any other handling is not in harmony with laws of creation , it would be directed against same and would sooner or later punish the one who does not follow them. The same is true for natural riches of the earth. Nobody has the right to exploit them himself only and bar access to them to others. Due to the circumstance that these riches are restricted, there have to be established modes of just distribution and use, which has to ensue through unions of countries, or their associations, respectively. This does not mean introduction of rules of equal stomacks, but sensible solutions originating from present state, which would gravitate to a state in which gradually all people would reach such access to accumulated human knowledge and natural resources that a decent living could be provided to them. Human ethics should be such as to enable the mankind further existence and development. Should this fail, mankind will soon fail to exist, as well. Senseless competion to amount knowledge, wealth and power in the hands of individuals or groups has to stop. A higher level of conscience will bring about a different ethic, different human behaviour to man. Man will surpass the primitive step of material accumuling and pass over to higher spiritual levels. His aims and values will be different, and thereby life in this world will be happier and fuller. Innovations and development can be attained without wild racing for material rewards and profits. The patent system and the system of awards will continue to operate as we do not wish to stop the system or cannot stop same at once. As said, what we desire are no rash revolutions, but a gradual changing and improvement of present state on the basis of a higher level of human conscience. The latter will itself introduce the necessary changes into human systems and render them to become more just and more acceptable to all people.
Let us try to do something today. As you know, within the frame of the Movement for Justice and Development we wish to raise the level of human conscience. We have succeeded in attaining this in our country, to a certain degree. We will try to exemplify and realize this in different fields of our activities. Development and innovations can represent one of the fields in which we are going to test ourselves.
Let us accumulate knowledge, experiences, and innovations to make them available to all people. The Movement will not patent or formalise its knowledge or proposals. Let us simply make available everything, which proves to be useful for life and further existence of mankind on this planet, whatever could improve the quality of our lives. Perhaps our proposals will be useful for one, ten or maybe thousands of people. Let us make them public on the website of Movement. With our proposals and experience we might stimulate new thinking and create new knowldge. We all live together in this world and are inter-dependent. Let us help one another.
Should there arise a great number of proposals and innovations, we will try to collect them according to the individual fields. Those, who want to be especially active thereat, are invited to join the editorial board of this column. Enterprises, institutes, and other organisations may also cooperate. Let us give the human inventiveness a free way. Let us give it a possibility and make it available to the world, from the simplest proposals of what should be improved in our househould, to possibly proposals for saving the energy or for improved appliances. Never mind, if your proposals have already been published or submitted elsewhere before. This is not an obstacle, our aim is a widest possible exchange of ideas, propositions and the widest possible accessibility to knowledge, which enables better life to all people.
We know that mankind is endangered by several perils. Besides own greed and shortsightedness also different challenges of the future are in question. Energy is limited, mankind uses it more and more. Will we be able to survive if in a certain place a lager enery cutout occurs? We are ever more dependent upon computer systems, which can disintegrate in critical situations. Will we know how to live afterwards? Changes of climate appear in the form of extreme weather phenomena. How can we prepare for them? Besides deliberating on concrete improvements of present life, we can also deliberate on unpleasant, but possible shocks awaiting the mankind.
I have a feeling that in the future some catastrophy will happen, which will deeply affect the present way of life, however, we act as if this will never happen. The opposite would be much better. On the website you can also deliberate on possible catastrophic changes of the way of human life. You can develop suitable scenarios, e.g., what will happen in the year 2012. In the beginning, this column may not be full. It may, however, happen that it will be frequented more and more in the coming years.
